Children's Yoga

Yoga is great fun for your child's mind, body and spirit. Children are innately flexible; they love to engage all their senses and explore new things.

Our Children's Yoga program offers fun-filled classes where children are encouraged to discover their inner potential in a non-threatening environment and to feel good about themselves, both inside and out.

Regular 45 minute classes for 5 to 9 year olds are held on Saturday at 11:00am during school terms. Please register for classes starting in 3rd Term.

Yoga for the Radiant Child

This class is designed for children with special needs and their parents. Yoga for children is a natural way to exercise, relax, focus, and strengthen the body mind spirit connection.

The 45 minute class will help reduce hyperactivity, balance emotions, improves concentration, co-ordination, and self-control in children with Regulatory Sensory issues.

Music, dance, rhymes and stories with movement are all some of the tools that the teachers at The Gem use to connect with the children. We include relaxation and breathing into the classes and create an environment of trust for the children and parents.

Classes run on Saturday’s at 9:30am. The classes are run in four week blocks with a break after each block, this is to help establish continuity for the group. To register for the next four week block please call 8431 0419.
